"Immaculate site. Very friendly staff and regulars. Peace and tranquility in abundance. We're in a motorhome which we don't move once pitched so only down side is no local shop for any grocery top up, we were there for 8 nights. However well worth a visit, we will be back and would highly recommend."

“Been here a few times my friends have a caravan there permanently very peaceful local smithy pub amazing food and drink.
As for fishing it's got a amazing stock of tench bream carp big crusian etc fish old style, gravel bottom and weed fish 4m out on pole or float rod worm on hook with chopped worm pellets etc"

"It's situated just on the edge of the Yorkshire moors. restaurants around close by with good quality food 10 min drive to Malton or pickering. The camp site is situated close to the road but not a lot of traffic comes by with a beautiful view outside the caravan looking over a picturesque lake we come every year and would highly recommend it to anyone else thinking of visiting this camp site.
The owner is very helpful and friendly such a great venue."
